Our approach
At GAPDI, we take an individual-centered approach and we believe in a stepped care model for mental health. This includes an interdisciplinary approach that involves peer support workers, recovery coaches, addition counsellors, social workers, and other mental health professionals.
By broadening the capacity of service delivery, as well as the scope of supports and services, a stepped care model reduces wait times for treatment and more effectively triages incoming referrals so that individuals are best matched to the level of care they need, when and where they need it.
GAPDI offers a person-centered approach to care and services. We provides self-directed community-based case management and case management services that will help our participants identify their goals and develop their own rehabilitation and recovery plans.
GAPDI develops Local Community Change Agents (individuals who work with us to make a difference in their communities) and GAPDI Impact Partners (Individuals, Organizations and Government entities who collaborate for greater impact) across service areas to work in collaboration to achieve improved individual and families quality of life, well-planned and transformational community and sustainable economic development through job creation, microfinance, entrepreneurship development (especially technologically-driven innovative manufacturing and value-added food processing), global trade, education/training and professional planning and development services.
We accomplished this mission by adopting the unique integration principles approach of total collaboration (a person centred approach).
GAPDI engages individuals, global institution /organizations/civic society in partnership for planning and developing transformative sustainable communities through three core areas of programs and services: Quality Education and Training, Entrepreneurship Development with Financial Services, Social Enterprise, and Professional Services.
